Our cottage resort recognizes that our guests are searching for unique dining experiences when they arrive on Kauai. Waimea Plantation Cottages shares the love of good food, a special atmosphere, live music. It is our mission to capture all that is special about Kauai for our guests to "live the dreams" of their vacation here on our island.

We offer many dining options including The Grove Café — our plantation gathering place within our property, to a Luau on the beach...or an intimate Sunset Dinner in your cottage.

All of our cottages have a full kitchen. Your family can prepare a home-cooked meal or enjoy a BBQ on the lawn fronting your cottage. Aside from our local grocery stores in Waimea, there are farmers markets that offerl fresh produce. The Front Desk can provide you with a schedule. The Grove Café can also help you prepare our special Sunset meal packages. These special BBQ packages are made to order with a choice of salads, starch, dessert and a meat entree that you and your family can cook on the grill provided by our staff. Your family can return to your cottage with the package with all the fixings in your refrigerator, and you are the Chef to prepare whatever main entree selection you desire. And—if you prefer our Chef to cook the entree—we can do that as well. Just tell us your preference!

The Front Desk has our menu selections available, we just need at least 4 hours advance notice for small parties up to 10, and 24 hours notice for parties of 10 or more. This service makes it so easy for you to enjoy a day touring the island; spend every minute having a good time! Leave the shopping to us.
